Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing badgerctf.com or running a BadgerCTF deployment, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. License

BadgerCTF grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for educational and authorized security training purposes within the scope of your subscription or pilot agreement.

3. Acceptable Use

BadgerCTF lab environments contain intentionally vulnerable software for educational purposes. You agree to:

• Only run exploits, scans, and attack techniques against your own assigned lab instances.
• Never use BadgerCTF infrastructure or assigned VMs to attack third-party systems.
• Not redistribute lab content, lab solutions, or platform credentials outside your organization.
• Comply with your school's or employer's acceptable-use and academic integrity policies.

4. Pilots & Subscriptions

Free pilots are limited to the seat count and term agreed in writing. After the pilot, continued use requires a paid subscription. Pricing is per-seat per-semester unless negotiated otherwise.

5. Intellectual Property

The platform, lab content authored by BadgerCTF, and all related branding are property of Chen AI Solutions LLC. Customer-authored labs remain property of the customer.

6. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. SELF-HOSTED DEPLOYMENTS ARE THE OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BadgerCTF's aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate at the end of a billing term with 30 days' notice. We may suspend access for violation of the Acceptable Use clause.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
